The New York Knicks welcome the Indiana Pacers to Madison Square Garden on Monday to tip off their second-round series, as we offer our best Pacers vs. Knicks player props for Game 1 based on the best NBA odds.

The longstanding rivalry between the New York Knicks (50-32) and the Indiana Pacers (47-35) reignites in Game 1 on Monday, set to tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET (TNT) from Madison Square Garden in New York.

Buoyed by their recent victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round, the Knicks are poised to bring that same energy to this showdown. According to our best sports betting sites, they're favored by 5.5 points against the Pacers.

However, overlooking the Pacers would be unwise – they secured their spot in this series by defeating the short-handed Milwaukee Bucks and are undoubtedly prepared to bring their A-game in what promises to be a fiercely contested series filled with animosity.

To accompany our Timberwolves vs. Nuggets player props, here are our best Pacers vs. Knicks player props and NBA picks (odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Pacers vs. Knicks prop bet predictions for Monday

Jalen Brunson Over 34.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Look, nobody likes to bet into what could be an inflated line, and Brunson is clearly white-hot right now after scoring 39-plus in four straight games. Still, there's a reason this total is so high - and it's not just hype.

Brunson struggled early in the first round against the 76ers' size and physicality, missing plenty of "easy" shots by his standards. Then he adjusted and averaged 41.8 points over the final four games of the series with at least 27 attempts in each of them.

I don't envision any early struggles against the Pacers, who ranked 24th in defensive rating (117.6) in the regular season and don't have a plus-defender along the perimeter. Damian Lillard skewered this defense early in Round 1 before injuries slowed him, and Brunson averaged 35.7 PPG in three meetings with Indiana this year - his sixth-most against any opponent.

These +100 odds from DraftKings carry an implied probability of 50% that Brunson will score at least 35 points for the third time in four tries against the Pacers, per our odds converter, and they pay out $20 on a $10 wager if he does. Sign me up for that.

Andrew Nembhard Over 15.5 pts + ast ⭐⭐⭐⭐

While nobody can truly stop Brunson in this series, Nembhard gives Indiana the best chance to wear him down. And that extra playing time should provide him plenty of run to keep producing on the other end, too.

We've been targeting this exact prop on Nembhard for a while now, as he's cleared this total in five straight games as he proves his worth in the Pacers' rotation. He's made six or more shots in all five contests, and he's emerged as a valuable secondary playmaker alongside star guard Tyrese Haliburton.

DraftKings is offering the best price on this prop, with the rest of our best sportsbooks dealing this side at -105 or worse. With this total even lower than it was before his last game, I'm all aboard the Nembhard train once again.

Best odds: +102 via DraftKings

Myles Turner Over 16.5 points ⭐⭐⭐

Myles Turner let us down when we last called his name, scoring just five points with zero made threes on Thursday. But this line feels like an overreaction ahead of what profiles as a strong matchup for the sharpshooting 6-11 center.

Turner averaged 17.1 points in the regular season, and he cleared this mark in each of the first four games of this postseason (24.3 PPG) before falling off late. That dip came as his 3-point production waned in the face of aggressive switches along the perimeter by the short-handed Bucks.

The Knicks, on the other hand, boast a traditional frontcourt with Isaiah Hartenstein and Mitchell Robinson - two 7-footers who much prefer to defend in the paint. Those two will be hard-pressed to defend Turner out to 24 feet, and if New York switches a smaller defender onto Turner, he's big and skilled enough to make them pay inside.

I've knocked this down to a three-star play because of these -115 odds, which imply a 53.49% hit rate but only pay out $18.70 on a $10 wager. Still, this is a matchup that Turner should exploit to open this series.

Best odds: -115 via DraftKings
